Andrews was an assistant curator working at the Gotham Museum who also had a large corrupt streak. He committed numerous high-profile crimes while disguised as a mummy, leading people to conclude that this relic from ancient Egypt had come back to life. Andrews chose the mummy motif not only because it frightened ordinary citizens, but also because the wrappings covered his over sized hearing aid, a sure clue to his identity. His criminal activities proved short-live when he was quickly captured and exposed by Batman.
